Way too early predictions for the 2023 season

Post by DuckzRule »

The Pac-12 has decided their 2023 schedule and it's being planned for release this week, so to conmemorate the ocassion I've decided to ask for predictions about the 2023 season.

I honestly believe we will miss the CFP once again (sadly), but it will be made up by a trip to either the Fiesta, Cotton or Peach Bowl since the Rose Bowl will be a semifinal permanently starting this season and beyond.

We should run pretty easily against our non-conference slate but things will get tricky once we travel to Utah and Washington.

We should beat ASU, Cal, Colorado, Stanford, WSU, Hawaii, Portland State and Texas Tech. The games vs OSU, USC, Utah and UW are tossups at this point.

I'd like to believe that we drop only 1 game in the regular season, win the P12 and go to the Playoff.

I think we lose to usc in regular season and beat them in Pac 12/10 title game. And make the playoffs

No. We beat SC by 14, and they also lose to UU, UW and OS.

We really need 2-3 teams to rise to the top. Beating each other up is bad for the conference.

They play osu at home, i dont see a loss. OSU on the road is a different creature than theone at home

Agreed. Texas Tech makes me nervous just because it’ll be a huge non conf home game for Texas Tech.

Hope I am not jinxing anything but OS in Autzen and the revenge factor will be interesting. IF (big if) team health is good I think the DUCKS extract revenge. Given OS is improving this game going forward might be determined by home field.

Utah in SLC is ALWAYS tough and UW will be tough in Seattle. Again injuries and other factors will all be in play.
