Re: Your favorite Duck player
Not easy at all, too many to narrow it down but:
Offense it was never a better time to be a Duck fan during the Mariota years, incredible dominating football for the most part.
Defense , Cliff Harris, he was a ball hawk and good kick returner. His on and off field antics were entertaining in reflection…… but it was probably also a sign of his oncoming mental health issues.

Bobby Moore in todays era would win the heisman. His supporting cast wasnt
even close to todays talent. Was fun seeing him run thru and around teams
at Autzen

It was a toss up between Cliff and Boyett, Boyett was a real ball hawk.GrandpaDuck wrote:LMJ, Droughns, Moore

Those guys were actually my first two thoughts as well. Loved Johnson's stiff arm and will never forget the 2008 OSU game where we knocked them out of the Rose Bowl and Johnson ran wild.snapt wrote:Offense: Jeremiah Johnson's stiff arm

On defense I may have to swap out Reed for Patrick Chung. But they're probably interchangeable maybe 1 and 1a.

I’m having a hard time narrowing it to 2, but these are the first two that came to my mind.rockthief wrote:Offense: Jeff Maehl

Re: Your favorite Duck player
DAT kinda checked out his Junior year and opened his mouth too much. I remember him guaranteeing 40 points against Stanford and saying that the Rose Bowl wasn’t exciting to them cause they were there last year and they only really wanted a national championship. Some give him a break as he was a Chip guy and he didn’t like Helf at all, he can join the club with many other players that did not enjoy having Helf as a coach.chapelhillduck wrote:Offense: Can't believe DAT hasn't gotten a mention yet, dude was electric

Re: Your favorite Duck player
There could easily be several players in a tie such as Clay and Boyett and Adrian Patterson on Defense. Man there have been some remarkable players over the years.wlduck wrote:I’m having a hard time narrowing it to 2, but these are the first two that came to my mind.rockthief wrote:Offense: Jeff Maehl
