Same guy thinks it's an Oregon vs Texas battle, and he'd beat on Oregon.

Of all the recruits, I think he makes the most sense. We need a straight up, pure point guard and he fills that role. Richardson probably moves off guard a lot with whoever else we bring in.

Re: Oregon recruiting De'Vion Harmon hard
I like the ball in Richardson’s hands, especially with his experience. Plus, he can create, and get off his own shot if needed. With their height/length, Ducks need a knock down shooter. Unfortunately, I have a hard time hoping for certain players to play/stay more than a couple years, and am forced to really only worry about the next season. We have our PG. Need someone to drain it at SG.mattc94 wrote:Of all the recruits, I think he makes the most sense. We need a straight up, pure point guard and he fills that role. I think in Altman's system, true positions are not as critical. Having two guys that can handle the point and knock down shots on the perimeter would just be an advantage.

Re: Oregon recruiting De'Vion Harmon hard
I don't know about this. Duarte had the ball in his hands a lot. If Harmon would start at PG, this doesn't mean Richardson wouldn't have the ball in his hands. Whatever elite talent we can get at this point, sounds good to me.Everythingsducky wrote:I like the ball in Richardson’s hands, especially with his experience. Quack. In Altman’s system, two PG can play together.
Now we need about 3 more guys.

Immediately eligible, right? And two years to play?

Re: Oregon recruiting De'Vion Harmon hard
The article said he actually has three years to play, but if he is trying to get drafted now, I can't imagine he will use all of his eligibility.

With all the switches in the weave, you could probably put 3 together if you wanted to.buckmarkduck wrote:Quack. In Altman’s system, two PG can play together.
