The only thing I feel we're missing is another shooter besides Richardson and Bittle.

Defense, rebounding, size, ball handling, we are pretty set.
Jacob Young might fill out the class if Altman thinks his shooting numbers are good enough.

Seems like a scrappy tough player that plays like an undersized big, similar to Omoruyi. I'm not that excited only because I'm unsure how much he'll contribute with how many bigs will be on the roster next year, we definitely need more true wing players.

It's basically going to be an Oregon/UCLA battle for the conference title next year.

Really praying Dante stays healthy next year, not just for us, but his career.

It'll be REALLY interesting how Dana coaches with so many bigs. Possibly the biggest team of his coaching career.

I see it that way, as well. If Bittle doesn't find his shot in his first year, they're going to be in desperate need of someone who can space the floor. I have high hopes for Williams to keep developing.

Interesting scouting report here: https://orangefizz.net/2021/03/is-quinc ... nba-ready/

Against smaller/weaker defenders, he is highly effective. Against bigs with NBA size, he is ineffective. If he shares the floor with Dante/Kepnang and Bittle, he should find himself matched up with some smaller defenders. Hopefully he continues to expand his game and improve his J, which improved markedly last year. Strong help defender -- should excel in Altman's defense.

Shot 34.5% from 3 this last season at the JC level. Fine, but not great.

Duarte shot 37% from 3 his first year at the JC level. Although Duarte's FG shooting was always 54% or higher, which is silly good for a guard.

I think we might be comparing apples to oranges? 34.5% is Soares' sophomore shooting percentage (freshman was 33%). Duarte shot 40% in his second year. Here's what I'm looking at.

Oh, I thought 34.5% was his freshman stats. Anyway, not a bad shooter. And on video, seems to have a good stroke and lots of range. So I'm optimistic he'll be a great shooter for us by the time he graduates.
