Oregon ranked #11 in ESPN preseason poll
I'd expect Oregon and UCLA to get lots of love in preseason polls.

Part of me feels like UCLA is wildly overrated and we're going to smoke them this year.

They got a favorable NCAA draw. I feel like we would have made the final 4 also, with that bracket.

Growing up in Ohio and watching Cronin take over Cincinnati after being a Huggins understudy, the dude can coach. Gets the most out of his players and loves him some defense. Give him the talent drawn to UCLA, he’s got a very high ceiling. Sound familiar? I hate it, but he’s a great hire. Very….. Altman-like.Duck07 wrote:Part of me feels like UCLA is wildly overrated and we're going to smoke them this year.

UCLA being strong is a good thing. I am sick of the conference getting blasted by media pundits and fans with an axe to grind. The conference badly needs a national title in one of the revenue sports. And there is no reason Altman's players couldn't make another run this year.

Would be good for the conference if osewe continued to improve. Wouldn’t it?

#12 by another preseason ranking. Looking like a top 15 ranking to start the year looks likely at this point.

Re: Oregon ranked #11 in ESPN preseason poll
I think Oregon being ranked between 10th and 15th is about right. Their ceiling is going to be determined by how well all the newbies acclimate to Altman's system and what Oregon can get out of their big men.
