Ha, true! Just means it might be only height and lack of skills. And when other people are tall like you or all mostly tall, the lack of skill is more evident.

Sounds like he will be getting a bump. Also if he starts asserting himself, which isn’t always easy for big men at this age, he could be a solid top 10 type guy.

Why is it that every time we land a 5* basketball recruit, people have to try and downplay their ability? Is this just a duck thing, people not wanting to get to excited? Or is this normal all over college basketball?

I think it's always people tempering their expectations, especially after previous 5* recruits weren't completely as advertised.

Big guys that are skinny are so hard to evaluate in high school. They're usually just such a mismatch against other hs.

Doesn't look super quick. Can shoot the 3. Is he Bittle 2.0?
Bittle looks quicker to me and can dribble better.
Who are our big man coaches? I hope they can teach big man skills and not just shooting 3's.

We are now regularly landing those elusive elite centers that we used to never be able to get!

Frank and Dante are true centers.
Seems like Bittle and Ware might be more stretch 4 type players.
Not sure which category Johnson fits into.
