WBB's Prince out for season with elbow injury

Post by greenyellow »

Tough break for the WBB team as F Sedona Prince is done for the season with an elbow injury. She's also going to be turning pro instead of returning for another year.

Ouch. Maybe that's why it seemed like Graves seemed so indefinite about her return timetable and why he seemed to play up the other bigs somewhat.

Welp, at least no bigs are going to be complaining about lack of playing time.

Imagine they'll be going with a lot of small lineups without Prince now.

As bad luck as the mens team has had, the womens team has had worse luck. Still won’t forget the 2019 season when they were about to roll their way through the tourney before it was cancelled.

I haven't been here for awhile. Missed something? I was looking at the roster and didn't see Parish or Scherr. If they're gone that means Te Hina PaoPao is the only one left from the fab 5 recruiting class.

Parrish transferred to Indiana and Scherr transferred to Kentucky.

I thought Philipina K showed a lot of raw talent. Hopefully she develops quickly, if she hasn't already. Maybe the freshmen will surprise us.

TF Grace VanSlooten will start and may lead the team in minutes because of the lack of bigs (only 2 power forwards). TF Gray started the exhibition game in a 3 guard lineup. I think we are going to see a lot of 3 and 4 guard being played. Freshman Isai and transfer Hanson could be called a small forwards but they are only 5'11".
