Good News in latest Lunardi Bracketology
In Joe Lunardi's latest Bracktology report, Oregon is now listed as one of the Last Four In. If Oregon can somehow win out in their final 5 games and likely one conference tourney game, they may get in.

Oregon in next four out list for Joe Lunardi...
The way I interpret that, if Oregon makes it to the finals of the Pac-12 championship game and loses a close game, there is a chance still. 20-14 with tons of injuries in the first half of the season + a top NET 50 ranking and a high SOS. I could see it happening as long as there's not a lot of conference tournament upsets.
Easiest thing would be to just win the Pac-12 tournament. But interesting at the very least that Oregon is still considered a legit bubble team.

This is probably the most boring Oregon BB team I can recall.
Even the middling Bryan Bracey / AD Smith teams or the Joevan Catron CBI team were more exciting

100%. Expectations play a big role too. With those teams you felt like you were watching a team play their absolute best and hardest. The year we won the CBI with EJ Singler hitting the game winner was awesome; they weren’t very good but were still fun to root for. This squad feels like we’re watching a bunch of talented dudes that can’t get out of their own way and only show up when they feel like it. Similar to Cristobal’s last season at Oregon, just excruciating to watch at times.UOducksTK1 wrote:Last years team is up there too.lukeyrid13 wrote:This is probably the most boring Oregon BB team I can recall.

Haha, hope springs eternal. Personally, I think they were cooked after that Washington road trip. In any case, as others have noted, I'm not sure how excited I would be to see this team take its clueless-on-offense show to the Big Dance. It feels like we just need to start from scratch with new players and/or coaches.greenyellow wrote:In Joe Lunardi's latest Bracktology report, Oregon is now listed as one of the Last Four In. Look at the date and time of the thread; it's from just before the UW game.

If we win our first round pac-12 tournament game, getting a win over UCLA is gonna be tough.

The BIG is a joke again this year. They have one solid team in Purdue and 11 bubble teams. They are going to get wiped up in the first and second rounds just like last season.UofDuck wrote:Michigan lost today and they are a 17 win bubble team too.
