He’s obviously playing hurt. He also had 3 assists in first half and was a key part of our first half run.
Anyway, gritty win for ducks. Wazzu got super hot from outside in 2nd half, so good job not just giving up and pulling together when it mattered most.

UCLA will kill is now.
Has he been playing hurt all year? He’s been a ghost in many games that the Ducks had to have this year. C’mon man. Almost every game you watch, the crew working the game addresses this issue, and talk of what he HAD done in the years past. Tired of the excuses.

Of our 6 top scorers, he has the 2nd highest FG% (Dante 1st duh). He leads the team in assists and steals.
He’s 2nd in the PAC-12 in assists per game and 5th in the PAC-12 in steals per game.
He’s having a bad year and has been hurt for over half the year, and he’s still statistically above average.

It's useless debating it. A good portion of the fanbase has unfortunately made him the scapegoat. He is clearly playing injured, and having 2 fingers on his shooting hand taped together certainly isn't going to help him shoot the ball consistently. The thing is that fans complain about constant transfers and 1 and done kids, then they get a guy that has been humble, represented the school well, played hard and stayed loyal to the school for 5 years, and all they do is complain about what he's not. Yes, he's had a disappointing finish to the year, but I think it's pretty clear he's hampered by injuries and trying to fight through it. Altman mentioned multiple injuries that he's battling through, and that he's also probably battled fatigue, because he damn near had to play 40 minutes a game for a large portion of the season due to the numerous injuries at the guard spots. He has given his all to the school, so I appreciate him for that.
Agreed. The biggest thing that has helped somewhat offset some of Richardson's drop in production is Barthelemy has become a reliable scorer next to Richardson and Couisnard and a very capable PG/ball-handler when Richardson comes off the floor.
