Ducks get the 84-58 win. Soares led the way with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Bittle added 17 points while Tyrone Williams provided 12 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. Oregon hit 12-28 from three while limiting UC-Irvine to only 4 made threes and 30% overall from the field. Great showing with them being so severely short-handed.

Amazingly, the lopsided win comes despite a pretty pedestrian game by Barthelemy. Would've thought we'd need his production but he had 6pts on 2/12 shooting to go with 5 assists. Most surprising stat line has to be Tyrone Williams getting 11 boards for a double double.

Almost felt like Oregon was better without at least some of the injured players, played with a lot of heart and energy, something that’s been missing this season.

I only watched a few games this year, but this was by far the most energy I have seen in any of them. Soares was all over the place (where has he been all season?), and Ware was looking aggressive. Bittle seems to be finding himself. Great rebounding and shot blocking, and the outside shooting was much improved. Finally an entertaining game.

Just imagine MKA if the Ducks played like tonight on a consistent basis?

This game would have had the scoreboard bouncing at Mac Court!

UC Irvine had one of their worst shooting games of the year and it wasn’t because our defense was exceptional. They missed many open threes.

Oregon played a solid game but UC Irvine played terrible. They would have made Cal look good. UCF will be a really good test for this squad. Nice to see guys like Bittle and Williams play well last night!
