Too bad. With the SC guards coming back, doesn’t look like it was about playing time.

It's not like Oregon had the PT either with them having both Oquendo and Couisnard at SG. Still sucks Oregon hasn't really found a surefire answer to their shooting issues. Have to hope that Tracey and/or Shelstad give them that.

I actually really wanted him, he’s a legit really good shooter, but not surprised he wanted to stay in his backyard. I’m sure Mullens is bummed, having Bronny is one way to fix the attendance issue at MKA.

I did too, but more for his perimeter and on-ball defense than as a pure shooter.

I actually think he might be a future NFL CB if he made the switch.

OMG... !
How much NIL money is USC throwing at these guys?

It must be massive to beat Uncle Phil and his abject devotion to all things OREGON!

Phil clearly isn't playing the NIL game, that much seems obvious to me even prior to this.

In my experience, the ultra-wealthy get way more credit for throwing money around than they actually throw money around. Most of them didn't get rich by doing things like giving every recruit that comes along a big bag. I expect Uncle Phil thinks strategically and picks his battles. He was smart to build on the momentum already started by the Rose Bowl appearance in '94. He is also smart to stay on the sidelines when nobody is attending basketball games. Actually, even the money he spent on that arena was probably not a great investment in retrospect, but maybe the monument to his son was worth it. I preferred the old dynamic with the Pit and wish they had preserved that instead.

If you thought I was seriousl questioning payouts to these athletes, may I say the sarcasm is dying a painfully lingering death on the internet...
