Baseball: No Ducks drafted

Post by shoparound »

It looked like Kenyon Yovan had a shot, but wasn't picked. He was drafted out of high school before going to Eugene.

It was only 5 rounds this year, so to be expected.

got to feel bad for the guy, I'm sure he didn't expect his college career to turn out the way it did (so far)

Oh I didn't know that. That's not surprising then.

As expected, it looks like most of the upperclassmen are returning.

With the extra year for players and the extended roster. Baseball, assuming there is a season, should be super compedateive and fun to watch next year.

How has the limited draft affected all the other teams? Did Oregon 'win' bigger with players coming back than other schools?

It's also the glut of kids from last year who got rairoaded with the senior class coming back. If the NCAA wanted to help those 2 different senior classes I think they need to relax the scholarship and roster allotments for the incoming FR and outgoing SR for the smaller sports teams
