Bummer to lose game 1. It was already an uphill battle to advance. Hopefully ducks can just get a win.

Hope they didn't use up all that offense in one game. Gonna need 3 games worth...

Ducks can't complete the comeback and their season ends with a loss to Louisville.

Hate to say it but not surprised at how the season ends. I love having an exciting team to watch unlike Horton’s teams but defense and consistency needs to improve in future seasons.

Is it? Both made postseason and were ranked within the top 25 for substantial portions of the year. Maybe my expectations are low.

Worst softball finish in 12 seasons (excluding Lombardi's first season because the turnover was unreal).

We've made post season 7 of the last 12 seasons in baseball. And this was tied for our worst post season experience, we've won at least two games every time except in 2015 where we lost by 1 run and 2 runs respectively.

Maybe we weren't expect to do so well this year, but relative to what our teams have been producing, this was a bad season.

Both teams were hurt considerably by not having their ace pitchers (Yanez in SB and Maier in BB) for most of the year.
