I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far out of the team & I think its only going to get better. Not gonna start expecting a ton of wins but once JJ's back I could see us being pretty competitive in conference.

He scored 30 some points his first game, it should be a good test for us.USUaggieDuck wrote:sjsu has one of the best guards oregon will play all season.

I really think this team will improve a lot throughout the year (hell we have already improved a ton from last year) and play the role of spoiler to a team or two down the stretch. I don't expect a winning season or anything but knocking those smug Beavs down a notch and throwing a monkey wrench in UW plans would make me more than happy with the season. I honestly don't think we will finish 10th, Stanford is pretty sorry and we owe OS.

This team is very scrappy and I don't think they'll get blown out in too many games. DA will find ways to keep games close this year until he gets some real talent in to help.

Ducks up 39-34 at half. We're playing really tough on D, I'm starting to love this team.

Watching this team run a real offense, keep a set rotation of players, show legitimate effort on interior defense and stay competitive with only 8 scholarship players shows just how brutal Ernie Kent was at coaching basketball.

I'm not watching the game, but based on stats it seems like SJU is a bigger team. 14 offensive rebounds and 10 more FG attempts than Oregon.

Seriously. DA has half the players, half the talent & has only been working with these guys for what, 6 months? He has them playing 10x better than the past 2 years of Duck bball.DarronThomas1 wrote:Watching this team run a real offense, keep a set rotation of players, show legitimate effort on interior defense and stay competitive with only 8 scholarship players shows just how brutal Ernie Kent was at coaching basketball.
