I'm not used to seeing quality defense associated with the Ducks. Watching us get stops is making my head explode, I'm just not used to this.

Seriously. Even when we were on our Elite-8 runs our D was none existent. Which I couldn't stand because all it takes is an off night & you're toast. You can almost always depend on your D though.

Not a bad win but it's really being overshadowed locally by the football team's win and NCG berth. The team is coming along slowly but surely.

Not sure I would say slowly. but it is obvious to me that these kids are buying in to what DA is teaching. To me, the fact that some kids left probably helped this team out quite a bit. Had they stayed and not been 100% committed, this team may not be playing nearly as good as it is now with less talent.

I probably should have said steadily instead of slowly. Anyway you put it, they look a whole lot better than last year already. They are watchable and you know they won't quit, unlike last year, where would were expecting them to quit at some point in every game.

Wow, 2 weeks ago we where beating teams like PSU by 3 points and now this. Nice to see how far along they have come on D.

I go to Portland State, and we are not very good this year. Lost lots of quality players over the last two years. I went to a game earlier this year and we didn't look good.

With that being said, it's a huge improvement to be blowing out PSU instead of having it come down to the last few minutes. Definitely an improvement.

Too bad none of the games have been televised yet where I am. Hopefully once pac-10 play starts. Anyway, the league looks to be pretty poor this season outside of Washington and Arizona. Hopefully the ducks will win more games than last season.

The Duke and Missouri games were both on TV.

Actually Tk, the PSU D may be bad, but on O they have been shooting lights out around 46% from the field and we put the clamps on them.

hopefully in pac 10 play, we might see defense win the game where we might not expect to win.

UCLA lost, at home, to Montana yesterday. LOL @ this conference.

Portland State has a good one in that Tapscott kid. I remember watching him and Drew Wiley go at it in a 5A quarterfinal game a few years back between Century and Thurston. I believe one of the Terrances was named 5A POTY that seasons, but both Wiley and Tapscott were first team all-state.
