Vegas Bowl
Boise showing its thug play before the game even starts. Unbelievable.
Utah should be easily up at least 10-0 right now if it weren't for the botched FG and the dropped TD

Re: Vegas Bowl
This game is off to an ugly start, both team's not making plays they should be. Boise not catching that fake punt pass and Utah dropping a couple open passes.

Re: Vegas Bowl
Brotzman dropped a 4th down catch on a fake punt - been a bad last few games for that guy.
This is what typically happens in Vegas, unless its the ybu'ers. Sloppy football. I did find the "Girlsie State" comments by a Ute to be pretty hilarious though.

Re: Vegas Bowl
Musburger's non-stop love affair with Boise St has really been annoying to listen to this year.

Re: Vegas Bowl
I hate Boise State but that was a bad call that was a TD not a touchback.

Re: Vegas Bowl
Boise State should be blowing out the Utes but it is a lot closer game with all of the turnovers and Utah is going to struggle next season in the PAC-12. I know their starting QB isn't playing but I don't know if he would be doing much better.

Re: Vegas Bowl
Really, seems to me that long TD run by BSu was a clear hold that wasn't called, but whenever Utah does anything good it's called.
Boise is the better team thought, not sure Utah will win 6 games next year. If they had slipped on baby blue and gold unis I would believe they are UCLA.

Agreed, I don't see them doing very well in the Pac12.buckmarkduck wrote:Really, seems to me that long TD run by BSu was a clear hold that wasn't called, but whenever Utah does anything good it's called.

Re: Vegas Bowl
They are in for a rude awakening. That was the PAC 10 refs way of welcoming them to the conference, I guess. I didn't see any bad calls that I can still remember after a few hours. That touchback was questionable, but it really wasn't enough to overturn the call. If they had called it in, they wouldn't overturn it either. Just tough luck.Boom wrote:Agreed, I don't see them doing very well in the Pac12.buckmarkduck wrote:Really, seems to me that long TD run by BSu was a clear hold that wasn't called, but whenever Utah does anything good it's called.

Seems like Utah's dropped passes cost them about 200 yards. It looked like us the last few years out there.

Re: Vegas Bowl
I would have rather seen Boise St in the Holiday Bowl against Nebraska with Washington in the Vegas Bowl against Utah. I know it doesn't work that way though.
