The Sooners are in Town

Not that it really matters to most, but we saw the Oklahoma team buses last night in Scottsdale. We'd just pulled out of the gas station by our house and they went by, so we sped up to see who it was and saw "Pride of Oklahoma" on the front bus. I'm assuming they were practicing at Scottsdale Community College, as that's right down the road a couple miles. I'm pretty sure that's where Texas practiced a couple years ago too when they played Ohio State.

There are already a LOT of people in town for the Bowl games! We went out to breakfast this morning and saw a big group of Missouri fans. Poor guys lost to Iowa last night in the Insight Bowl. Right now there are fans here from Missouri, Iowa, Connecticut, Oklahoma, Auburn and Oregon, though the Auburn and Oregon fans are mostly coming in next week.

In February it'll be spring training time. I miss Oregon sometimes, but I really do love it here.
