Oregon @ Washington

Post by UOducksTK1 »

I'd be shocked if we didn't open Pac-10 play at 0-4.

Thu, Jan 06 Washington * - at Seattle, Wash. - Bank of America Arena 5:30 p.m.

0-4 and no win in sight until the LA series at home is going to make for a long couple of weeks.

Yeah. USC is going to pimp slap us, but UCLA can be had... assuming we hit an open shot or two. But yeah, this trip to Washington is going to be brutal.

I was thinking the other way around since USC has blown some easily winnable games, but maybe they've improved since I last looked.

Honestly, I think both teams are beatable. They are good enough to compete with top 25 teams, but then they play poor enough to lose to teams we would beat.

If Oregon gets it together, they should beat USC or UCLA imo. In fact, I expect us to win one of those games.

USC has been a completely different team since Jio Fontan became eligible. He's made a huge difference. I think SC will push the pace and take it to us with their athleticism. UCLA is a bit more methodical and surprisingly, SC is the better defensive team.

I think my 8 win season is looking more realistic. I expect USC/UCLA games to follow the same script that the UA game took.

Getting double digit wins is going to be the goal for us now.

This game is going to be downright depressing.

I don't want to even think about it really.

I think that a 15 point loss will be making progress for this team since I just don't see them outshooting or even stopping UW for a big portion of the game.

And we will perhaps be without Catron and Armstead. Neat.

What's going on with them? Academics? Injuries?
