Dana Altman Question
Purely speculation but given the amount of decently high profile jobs open (GT, NC State, Tenn, Arkansas), do anyone of them make a run at Coach Altman? People have to have taken notice as to what he did with what everyone agrees is a medicore team. Considering how long he spent at Creighton, I don't see him bolting but just curious as to what others think?

Re: Dana Altman Question
No. He seems like someone who starts something and wants to see
it through. He has done an incredible job here so far. I'm sure other
schools have noticed. But he just signed a new contract. Just don't
see him leaving. I really look forward to seeing him with his own recruits.
But what he's done is remarkable considering the defections and injuries.
He's taken kids who came to play for Ernie, mixed in some players that
he got late and brought them this far. To me he's the coach of the year
in the PAC TEN.

Re: Dana Altman Question
No, I do not see him leaving. No better place in the country, and a chance to build the program from the ground up, basically. We now get to see if he has the skills do complete the task, so far he seems on point!

Re: Dana Altman Question
I doubt anyone will ask him, considering he's still in his first year at Oregon. Other schools tend not to poach coaches who are just starting a new job. Plus, most of the jobs available, save for a couple, are at schools without the type of support and resources that Oregon has.

Re: Dana Altman Question
Maybe if we were paying him Ernie Kent money.....
But according to USA Today http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/ ... tabase.htm
Altman's 1.8 million salary places him in the top 15
I would be very surprised if someone offered him more
