Re: Oregon Wins The CBI
I feel bad for Chreighton a little bit due to the over and back. No doubt it was because the line was blended in with the court. Tough way to lose IMO. Both teams deserved to win that one.
I'm really happy for the team and for Catron.

Who would have thought in January that it would be the basketball team and not the football team winning a championship?!

Notice the plane that we flew on?

AJ, those shots are awesome. I loved seeing EJ celebrate with the students and really liked that HDNet hung around to show the post game festivities.
Congrats to our Ducks!!

Great job at getting EJ's game winner. Also the moment the refs calling the over & back. The crowd reaction was awesome, at first disbelief that it actually happened then celebration realizing that we then had a chance to win the game.

So glad we won the thing, at least for the extra experience and fact we actually made a little money.
The fact that OSU has won the CBI before and that jaw dropping flower vase we got, I see no need to
raise a banner. Do U?
But it is a great way to end a season for a team that achieved a lot despite the low expectations.

Hey, it's a piece of crystal for the trophy case...Those have been hard to come by, most seasons.
Autzen Stadium... Where great teams go to die...Hard!

When I was at Matt I didn't see any banners up, not sure they are even putting them in the building, but I would hope there is no banner put up for the CBI.

What I really wonder about is if this team would have bonded 5 games earlier in the season if they had taken that early trip to Italy like was planned? They might have had a shot at the NIT or maybe even the big dance with 5 more wins. A great year though! It might be hard to replicate next year because I think that Catron's inside game might be hard to replace.

We'll be quite a bit better next year. Catron certainly had his moments, but he's hardly irreplaceable.
