I just read an article on Rivals about RB Cameron Roberson (6'1", 215) from Newbury Park, CA, one of many bigger backs the Ducks might look to land in the next recruiting class. He is a bit more under the radar than some, considering he "only" has offers from Arizona, Washington, BYU and Wyoming for the time being. Here is a link to his Rivals profile:

I don't see any videos of him on Rivals or Scout, but I did find this YouTube video of him. He looks pretty darn good to me for a bigger back.

I wonder if he will get an Oregon offer?

Wow, that's impressive.
My first thoughts (not professional at all)
Positives:Great cut-back ability, physical, fast
Negative:Not great breakaway speed
IMO he should get an offer, this kid looks like he has some potential and, as you said Vinny, he does look pretty darn good for a bigger back.
And it's always good to have a 6'1" 215 lb running back on 3rd and goal

He looks good, although the coaches will probably be picky since they will likely only take 1 or 2 running backs.

According to his Rivals profile, the coach recruiting him for the Ducks is Greatwood. If the Ducks were to offer, I would have to think they would have a pretty good shot at landing Cameron considering Greatwood is one of Oregon's better recruiters and there is an opening for a bigger back on the roster.
The Oregon coaches will have some tough decisions to make when it comes to running back recruiting...

- Ethan Grant is already committed to the Ducks.
- By my count, the Ducks have already extended offers to 12 other running backs.
- Good running backs like Brennan Clay and Andre Dawson would like an offer from Oregon, but don't have one yet.
- Other running backs such as Cameron Roberson look very offer worthy.

It also depends on weather or not we land BB, obviously. If we don't, we'll basically have James, Alston and Grant (so far) at RB for 2010. If we land BB, I think we will still go for one more RB as long as he's a stud!VinnyKnuckles wrote:According to his Rivals profile, the coach recruiting him for the Ducks is Greatwood.
