Juron Criner

Post by buckmarkduck »

I've seen it posted on a few Arizona sites that in the print only version of the Arizona republic that he may miss the year because of an illness. This is sad news for him, I hope everything turns out ok for him and it's nothing life threatening.

I talked to UA fans and they said that it's not cancer like the scout board said
He missed 7 on 7 though and something for ESPN
Hope what ever is wrong gets fixed soon
Wish him the best

I heard a guy on another forum say that he had a firsthand source that said he was fighting a depression issue (not like suicide attempts) but there was something he had wrong mentally.

Isn't that what happened with Sammy Stroughter(sp) a few years ago?

I think in Stroughter's case, it was brought by a couple family deaths within several months of each other.

Sad to hear stuff like this. In the end these guys are just young men and more than just football players. Hopefully Criner gets everything right and gets back on the field soon, even if that means burning the Ducks for another 200 yards and 2 td's like last year

Update

Arizona head coach Mike Stoops told the Arizona Daily Star Monday that all-conference wide receiver Juron Criner has returned to campus and will likely be with the team — participating fully — when the Wildcats open summer camp early next month.
