Perfect Couples TV
Noticed in the real estate office in the show the guys have an Oregon football, you know the kind that is a real football with like the inlayed Oregon O in the side. Kinda cool, I think the show is based supposidly in Portland

UO has been mentioned on Modern Family as well... Ty Burrell (the dad/Phil) is an alum/from Oregon...

I don't think he's an alum since IIRC he said he went to Southern Oregon, but is still a big Duck fan nonetheless after growing up in the state.uodux1212 wrote:UO has been mentioned on Modern Family as well... Ty Burrell (the dad/Phil) is an alum/from Oregon...

Ty is actually from my neck of the woods (went to high school up in the Applegate) but is a HUGE Duck fan. He definitely bleeds green & yellow.

I don't remember UO in there, just Stanford. It's been a while since I've seen that awful movie so I easily could have missed it.AU4UO wrote:Can't forget Swimfan with UO representation.
Awful movie though.

If I remember correctly, the male character's father went to UO. He also had intention of swimming for the Ducks. There's also a pennant in his room.greenyellow wrote:I don't remember UO in there, just Stanford. I just watched the movie a couple months ago, but apparently all but purged it from my memory.
I could even be thinking of an entirely different movie altogether. Let me ponder.

OKAY! I got it.
It wasn't Swimfan. It was the Stepfather remake.

Almost had a stroke trying to remember what movie it was. While Michael's girlfriend, Kelly (Amber Heard), tries to get him to focus on college applications, he grows more obsessed with the contradictions in David's stories. Michael asks his father to look into David, and his father discovers that David lied about attending the University of Oregon.

There was in dude first row in the outfield at the the home run derby last night wearing a green shirt with big yellow O on it. He got a decent amount of face time because ball kept getting hit in his section while one guy was batting.
