On one hand it's kinda stupid they can't wear their blue pants at home, on the other hand I think Nelson said it best, haha!

My guess is their blues match perfectly where as our green does not match the field hence allowing for enough of a color difference. I've read where players visiting the smurf turf have really complained about the field advantage BSU has. That split second of confusion on a defender's part makes a huge difference. I totally agree with this new rule as I've always felt they shouldn't be allowed to match their turf so closely.

It was a rule put in place by the MWC as a condition of them joining the conference, not an NCAA mandated rule. Plus, it only pertains to conference games, which means they can still do all-blue during non-conference games.

The difference is that Oregon's pants do not match anywhere near close to how BSU's pants match there blue field.

I'm colorblind so they both blend in about the same to me.

Well that would explain why you don’t see the difference….wouldn’t it.

Also, y’all normally blind in some black, grey, yellow, in whatever combination fits the mood. Their schite is straight up blue, there is almost zero contrast, like a crawfish hiding on a leaf.

It is fricking horrible. Personally I think they shouldn’t be allowed the blue field, it hurts my eyes.

Have you seen Eastern Washington? It's red.

At least the Eastern Washington field isn't the exact shade of red as their home uniforms... Imagine if OSEwe had orange turf to match their unis?

It would burn the eyes almost as much as the BeaverBlitz.com website!

DOH! That link is probably as bad as linking a CatGuano blog...
