Well at least they've made it a game late with it now being 51-38.

Washington got screwed in this game. They had a touchdown called back on a horrific call before halftime, then had Nebraska get a field goal as a result of the same bogus "interfering with the return" penalty. After halftime instead of starting from bad field position, Nebraska got a 15 yard penalty from another penalty In fact, Washington was the victim of 3 these horrible "interfering with the return" calls. This game was 17-17 before the refs threw the game for Nebraska.

Wait. You watched the Washington game instead of the Oregon game?

The plot thickens...!

I was watching both games as well, flipping back and forth during commercial breaks and lulls in the action during the second half. Not exactly a damning statement from airthomas.

But I would say entirely consistent with the kind of stuff we've gotten from that individual. At least I tend to see anti-Duck and pro-Husky sentiments as pretty consistent, on this board anyway.

But I live in Husky territory and this game was looked on as pretty big by the local media: "a win would show the nation the program is back" said the subtitle to Saturday's headline of the Seattle Times' Sports section. I'd say the Huskies will be expected to win hosting Cal this week in Husky Stadium, but I doubt it will be easy, as Cal, coming off a game where they no doubt rested many players, will undoubtedly be pointing to this first conference game this year as one that is winnable and a way to demonstrate that their program is back on the upswing.

Plus, Price was looking pretty gimpy at the end of the Nebraska game. If he's hobbled or they have to use their backup, Cal will really be test for them.

EWU throws for 400yds vs UW and hasn't been able to throw barely that much combined in two games vs 1-AA teams. Nice D they have in Seattle.

I think the game up in Seattle is gonna be scary though. It's the last game at Husky stadium and the crowd and players are going to be super juiced. They are sick of losing to us and would like nothing more than to end the current era of Husky Stadium with a win.

They'll count it as a win if they can stay within 14, we aren't loosing to the doogs. Remember not only have we beaten them, we have absolutely dominated UW in every game.

I doubt it happens this year. But, someday, they're going to sneak a win in on us.

It's going to be unbearable. I will probably go on a no blog comment reading policy for 2 months. :D

I hope Cal lights up the Huskies tomorrow. The "we're back" garbage is getting old already.
