I like what Ted Miller said...we tried and failed last year with the house of loud...because what Autzen really is, is the "House that mike built".

Thats what the new shirts should have on em with a picture of Autzen.

I don't think the field name should be changed but I hear the school is going to be making changes to the Casanova center and building an athletic academic center so the new section of the Cas center or the academic center should be named after him. I am sure the school will do something for him for everything he has done for the school not only in football.

I have no doubt something big will be planned, but like I said I don't see any way that they rename the Field

After the way the Ducks flushed the Beav's Rose Bowl Dreams down the drain, I propose renaming Reser the Belloti Bowl!

I think Kent should get the new academic center. I'm serious. You may hate his coaching, but he's made sure just about all his players put in work in the classroom. Kent's done great things for our program, and even if he does get fired, he deserves some recognition for his achievements. And his graduation rates are one of his biggest achievements.

Bellotti should for sure get something named after him, but I don't know what

You don't just go around renaming fields, especially when Bellotti is still working for Oregon. I hope people are kidding about this. Suppose something were to go terribly wrong while he is AD (knock on wood) and we get stuck with a field named after him. I don't think it would happen but it's possible.

We already made the mistake (IMO) of naming Rich Brooks field before he even retired from college football. I think he is very deserving of the honor but it's a little embarrassing to have a building, arena, or field named after some other team's coach.

Not a bad point. I guess I should amend my post and say that this would only happen if Kent was let go.

Whatever happened to that student athlete academic center that Uncle Phil was planing on building?
Wasn't he planing on leasing a piece of property on campus and building it like he built the treatment center?
This was the first thing I thought of when I read the quote from Bryce Brown saying the academic center at LSU was the best in the country.
I think this could be another great recruiting tool and pk built pk park as A.D. maybe MB could do the same with this.
Last I had heard was there was disagreements between Knight and UO about the money available to support the facility.(as in tutors and computers)
