You're probably right. It's not much of a week as far as exciting matchups.

I think that both Washington and Auburn have a shot.

Disagree. I think UW, and MSU have great shots in these games. Auburn not so much.

Auburn's about to get smoked unless if injuries happen to every key player on LSU. Wisconsin will probably have a solid win but MSU will be in it for a bit of the game at least if not all of it. Hate to say it but I think the Huskies will make it a game against Stanford. I'm not at all sold on Stanford's defense yet and UW has a good offense. I actually think Price is better for that offense than Locker since Price is actually a decent short range passer (or passer in general) unlike his predecessor. That said, Luck is about to make that Husky defensive backfield look like a group of JV players..... The Husky D is horrible.

^This.

Auburn makes me nervous EVERY year.

I am very excited about Washington v. Stanford…I know it is not the thing to say here…but…I have always kind of like the Huskies since we played them a couple of years ago. I think they have a real shot at taking Stanford out.

Bolds need to win, but all the home teams will probably win.

I don't want UW to win...aside from the obvious reasons UW winning simply does not help us. If Stanford beats us then we would need them to lose twice and they may fall once but not twice

Bud, you don't want to lose your hard earned cred here by being blinded by the Husky purple. I was impressed in LSU traveling to Seattle - even if UW couldn't beat their way out of a wet paper bag that year.

I wouldn't be surprised if MSU at home gives Wisconsin all they can handle.

Really not sure what to make of the Huskies so far. I thought their win at Utah was impressive at the time, but given that the Utes are so turnover-prone and especially once Wynn went out, that victory doesn't hold so much weight anymore. And I figured some time ago that hosting Colorado after UW's bye might be the Huskies' only blowout win of the year. I think UW-Stanford will be close for maybe a half, but I wouldn't be surprised if Stanford ends up beating UW decisively this week.

Perhaps I just feel a bond with them because we share a fondness for purple and gold

One thing about LSU fans…we travel…we may have to leave the cookers and trailers at home sometimes, but if our boys are going we are too :D

I think UW has a real shot this week. They are probably the most complete team that Furd has faced so far.

I don't have high expectations for Auburn in this game. However, the game is usually a lot closer than it should be. I think I heard a stat last year that only 30-40 points separate the two teams in their history of playing each other.

Auburn staying in the game hinges on a couple receivers coming back from injuries and our QB(whom I have no idea will be). Our punter will also have to be on his game for us to have a shot. LSU's punter did an incredible job against us last year.

Line on the game is LSU -22.5.

On offense. Defense.........not so much. The sad part is that UW may still be the best defense Stanford has faced so far.

I would think your love of purple and gold would distance you from the washington lavender and puppy piss
