WVU to Big 12?

Reports are still early, but it looks like West Virginia may be headed to the Big 12 if Missouri does indeed leave for the SEC. I'm not sure this is the best fit for both them and the Big 12.

In my opinion WVU has more to offer than Mizzou when it comes to football…not so much with academics etc.

Not necessarily. WVU IMO in the Big 12 would have equal or less success to Missouri. I think the reason WVU seems to always have a good program can be credited to the conference they play in.

Why would anyone join the Big 12 when they could disband at any time? I think I would stay put if I were WVU.

Because they are jumping from a ship that is sinking to a ship that is starting to sink but the people in it are bailing out enough water to keep afloat....for awhile.

By the way....I hear they officially offered it and WVU accepted. Lawsuit from the Big East may be pending.
