Stanford/Notre Dame
Looks like Stanford's D showed up in a big way tonight. Looks like turnovers could be the story in Palo Alto tonight...

I think Luck will be throwing the ball quite a bit tonight, trying to seal the Heisman trophy.

Wierd, isn't it? It looks like they borrowed Georgia's new uni's for tonight's game or something. Still waaaaay better than what WSU's been sporting this year.Duck07 wrote:Somebody want to tell me what Stanford is wearing tonight?

Black helmets, cardinal red jerseys and pants. As Stewart Mandel and others have called them on twitter, the fighting red blood cells.Duck07 wrote:Somebody want to tell me what Stanford is wearing tonight?

Ugh I hate that little man. Has he ever picked against ND? I love watching him try to justify ND's losses and keep his optimist opinions yet ND just stays mediocre. 8-3 this year and only one is against a remotely respectable team, Michigan State.Dr.Plompy wrote:Dr. Lou can't be happy with this...

The little old mush-mouth picked ND to beat not only USC handily this year, but also to beat "Andrew Luck and who else?" at Stanford. He'll be yelling "Notre Dame is back" two weeks after he's dead!
ND is on the score board finally, but not without some help from the refs...

It's there version of the Pro Combat uniforms. Most have said they are probably the worst out of all the designs this year, rivaling only Georgia's. The best ones are going to be seen in the Army-Navy game next week; both of those sets are pretty sweet.Duck07 wrote:Somebody want to tell me what Stanford is wearing tonight?

Also, did anyone else notice how cr@ppy Stanford's field was? If you thought it was bad for the Oregon game, it has gotten so bad that Stanford is thinking of putting in FieldTurf during the off-season.

Yeah and the media is going to be giving them reach arounds all off season about the 8 (possibly 9) win season and it will lead into a top 15 preseason ranking next year. I mean, their wins came against the powerhouse programs of Wake Forest, Purdue, Pitt, Air Force, Navy, Maryland, Boston College and the one legit win against Sparty. I think they will get better going forward as I believe in Brian Kelly but they aren't good now and Michael Floyd is graduating. What sucks is that with their probable top 15 preseason ranking, if they go 8-3 or better, they will land an at large BCS bid because of the stupid Notre Dame provisions in the BCS. And then they will proceed to get stomped by whomever they play. If we don't go to the natty next year, I'd love to find us matched up against them so we could hang 50+ on them and so we can see Lou Holtz drool all over himself while trying to explain the despite getting slaughtered, Notre Dame is still better.duckgrad99 wrote:Every season, Notre Dame is one of the most overrated teams in the country.

It's so logical, yet no one can grasp it...duckgrad99 wrote:Every season, Notre Dame is one of the most overrated teams in the country.

Or spit all over the camera and his sidekicks.
