I wonder if his yards are going to drop without Wilson there.
Wilson was a one and done right?

I'm really surprised. He looks very NFL ready, and with Wilson gone this makes even less sense.

This I can understand more than the Dyer rumors…Ball could have a shot at a Heisman next year and he would have a chance to finish his degree (which apparently matters to kids)..but Dyer has NOTHING to gain.UOducksTK1 wrote:I'm really surprised. Re: Montee Ball returning to Wisconsin
How many of their O-Line are coming back? That's even more important than losing Wilson. They should be able to find someone to manage the offense at QB, but a BIG (literally) part of Ball's success was that O-Line. Those guys and Stanford were the top 2-3 O-Lines in the nation.

To be honest i really wasn't that impressed by Ball. He's a good back but i think he benefited A LOT from having Wilson and that O-line. Seems to me he shoudl jump now...his stock will never be higher.

I'm impressed with him, he's physical running back. To me, he's nfl ready, can't blame him for coming back one more year.

Just heard on the radio that he was told that he would go in the third round if he came out this year. I’m sure that played a part in his decision, if he has a good season next year it could bump him into round two maybe round one if he goes into beast mode.

Really, he would turn down a 3rd round selection, huh. I guess a guaranteed position on the team and a 500k+ salary and as much or more signing bonus isn't enough for some people

Or he thinks he can still get that next year, and just really enjoys being in college.Zyme wrote:Really, he would turn down a 3rd round selection, huh. I guess a guaranteed position on the team and a 500k+ salary and as much or more signing bonus isn't enough for some people

Re: Montee Ball returning to Wisconsin
His wife is on the women's bball team and will be a SR next year so I figured he would stay. Would be kind of hard to get married and 2 months in be living in different places. For him personally it's probably the best thing he could do to stay with her at school.karlhungis wrote:Oklahoma QB Landry Jones is coming back as well.
