Re: Junior Day Visitors
Definitely one of the better junior day lists already in Oregon history. Love this momentum!

Tevin is most likely all USC, seeing as he is the son of Tim and brother of T.J. We shall see though. Maybe Cliff Harris can help on that one.

Re: Junior Day Visitors
It is possible that USC doesn't ever offer him though. He isn't considered a real bigtime recruit at this early stage and USC loaded up on safeties in the last recruiting class, bringing in 4.ghetarr2007 wrote:Tevin is most likely all USC, seeing as he is the son of Tim and brother of T.J. I heard we lead for McDonald, he is very good friends with Cliff Harris. I think we land him. Hope we go after Flowers too.
Is Meline going to be there for the spring game, I thought he was coming sooner?
Is Shreve coming? Also what about Clay and McConico?

Re: Junior Day Visitors
I actually got an email from Willie Flowers asking when and how he can get to the spring game so he certainly is interested in making the trip. Its up to him however to get in touch with the coaches to work it out as I can't help.
Next time I speak with Clay ill see if he's coming.
Shreve is quoted by scout saying hed try. I didn't count guys who said they will try to come. That list is almost as long as the one I have now.

True. Any update on Chris Metcalf, wouldn't that make it 5? I mean as far as early playing time is concerned, I doubt he would go to USC. He could follow his buddy Cliff Harris to Oregon instead. Tevin's situation reminds me of Casey Matthews and his family and USC. Strong family ties but not perceived as a USC caliber player coming out of high school. Hopefully he follows suit.VinnyKnuckles wrote:It is possible that USC doesn't ever offer him though. Re: Junior Day Visitors
Oh the irony if Willie Flowers was a son/grandson of a former UT player by the same name. Pulling a legacy away from the UT would make me giggle.

What's the word on the X man, Xavier Grimble coming to the spring game? And how about the ATH/TE out cali, Randell Telfer, he is down to USC and Oregon and wants to commit during the summer?

Re: Junior Day Visitors
I am not too sure how hard Oregon is recruiting Grimble. We already have White and TE is loaded. My only guess would be if the staff felt that Grimble or White could move to defense and then have the other at TE. Grimble comes from a school that is a pipeline to Oklahoma so my money is on Oklahoma getting him.
