It is hard to give a decisive answer since it depends on some things.

For example, will Morgan Flint be on scholarship? He seems like the odds on favorite to be the starting placekicker next season. It would be pretty hard to justify not having a senior that begins the season as a starter on scholarship, but who knows.

Also, Showalter and Cavaille were on conditional scholarships last season. Showalter was one of the top performers on special teams last season so he earned his scholarship, but it will be tough to find room to renew it as things stand now.

All that being said, if you count every incoming recruit, all the current players with scholarships (minus Hamani) and the three borderline players mentioned above (Flint, Showalter and Cavaille), the number is 90. People can do the math from there in terms of getting the number down to 85. There are a lot of scenarios that can accomplish it. It would have been a lot harder to get down to 85 if Hamani didn't announce he was leaving and Bryce Brown had chosen the Ducks, but that would have been a nice problem to have. :)

Moseley touched on this on his blog in his Chip Kelly interview. Said we were right on 85. Flint and Showalter not on schollies. Don't remember the other ones he mentioned. I'm short on time so I can't get you a link, just search Moseley's blog.
