'Bama won, but I'm not sold 'Bama would have beat OSU, Stanford or Oregon. The greatest offensive force for either team was 'Bama's kicker. Not sure if that would have cut it against a team with a high-powered offense. I was rooting for LSU in this one, but wow... this was one of the most forgettable big bowl games I've ever seen.

-45 days between games is not football. It's a joke. At no level of football anywhere do we see these kind of delays between games and it shows.

-I'm not quite sure who the best team in the nation is. A 8 or 16 team playoff format solves both of these issues, bowl traditions be damned.

Finally sombody credits a great defensive effort by Bama. That being said I still think Oregon could have put up points if we played either one of those teams. LSU's offense was tragic, they should have at least put Lee in to give him a chance to get things going. According to my eye test Oregon is the best team to finish this season. Just my opinion...
