Arthur Brown is staying at Miami. There was a recent article on scout (or was it rivals?) that confirmed the Arthur rumors are false.Greydrake wrote:Been looking for a entry I read somewhere over the past couple of days that stated the brother was considering transferring from Miami if Bryce were to choose another school. For the life of me I can't find it now. Being it was on a discussion thread, would treat it as an unconfirmed rumour.
Has anyone else stumble across such a statement?

First of all, QB and RB aren't "needs" for us right now. Getting these guys would just be icing on the cake. Our needs are WR's and defensive guys if i'm not mistaken.
I won't be hartbroken if we miss out on these guys because I know it'll only increase our chances of landing good ones in the 2010 class.
If I remember correctly, weren't the 2008 WR's Boyd and Harris both "Oregon leans" that ended up going elsewhere because there parents weren't onboard?

RB is a need basically every year. At least one. BLount for sure only has one year and it a lot of people are skeptical if he can stay eligible through this school year. While we have a number of RB's, the highest rated one is a little guy. RB's have a high injury rate so to be deep at the spot is must.oreducks77 wrote:First of all, QB and RB aren't "needs" for us right now. Getting these guys would just be icing on the cake. I would disagree and say that we need 1 more top tier running back. I see LGB and Brown being the best RB tandem in the conference next year and LMJ getting playing time, then taking over for LGB in 2010 to be half of the new "best RB tandem" with Brown.ivegottabigduck wrote:RB is a need basically every year.
