University of Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount has been reinstated to the Ducks’ football program for the start of spring practice, according to first-year head coach Chip Kelly.

Last year’s record-setting running back was suspended from the program on Feb. 10 for what the school’s former football coach Mike Bellotti termed “as a failure to fulfill team obligations.”

The senior-to-be finished last season as the team’s second-leading rusher with 1.002 yards, and broke the school’s single-season record for rushing touchdowns with 17.

Oregon is scheduled to open spring drills at 8:45 a.m. Monday (March 30).

I feel for you, brich75... I had a hybrid 11 hour shift that I think may be the only thing I've ever done that was worse than a true graveyard... Started at 4, got off at 3 AM. Usually, it ran 6 days a week.

My boss did it to avoid hiring enough qualified people to do the work in a normal time frame... He thought he was saving money, in spite of paying every man Jack in the production department 26 hours at time and a half per week! He ran that for 6 years...

And people think slavery is dead in the US.

I'm close friends with some die-hard beevs & yeah....they are freaking terrified. It started a few years ago too. After the 2007 CW, when we had all the injuries, they tried so hard to convince themselves that their win was legit & our injuries didn't make a difference. My beevur fan friends were constantly trying to justify that win to me. But really they were just trying to convince themselves. This past CW just cemented what they feared & now their absolute denial & dellusion is hilarious. I almost feel bad for them at times.
