If that's where he felt most comfortable, ya he did. If he chose there because he thought they would have better success at running the ball or because they have better coaches or whatever, no. But just because we're Duck fans doesn't mean we have to say we're the right school for everybody.

Referring back to what he was looking for in a program, he wanted a team that would not rely on him for success, would be a good running team, stability in the coaching staff and great coaching to get him to the next level. Yes there were a few more points but the article this argument is based on and logically from fans from all the teams considering TN should have been his last choice even behind KSU because at least they were his local team. UO, LSU, UM and USC were clearing all better choices, obviously you'd have to throw out UM but that would leave the obvious choices of us, LSU and USC!

His Tenn decision is a funny choice because it contradicts most of the main points he was looking for so ya it was a bad choice but in the end, as with most recruits, they are swayed by whatever reason and sometimes its just timing...Tenn will not be winning any major victories or conference titles any time soon in the SEC not with the competition they have there but luckily for us we play them so we can add another couple losses to make our point as to who the better team was!

In the end BB will be a great college back (maybe more?) and I wish him well because he seems like a good kid and he looks like a difference maker but was clearly mislead by multiple people!

BTW this argument, I think, is based on the article that was written but I agree the best choice for BB is where he decided at the end of the day...like at many schools its sad to see talent go where it won't be used but maybe Kiffen and Co can change TENN's history of running the ball! We shall see and I'm just happy they are on our schedule and we can help them with a couple more losses!

Yes he made the right choice. He would have ended up at wide receiver at Oregon. Behind Blount, Crenshaw, Alston and James this year. Then James, Alston, Grant and the Big Back we bring in 2010.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it until, and if ever, his success at Tennessee eclipses what these guys do.

Assuming that he was honest about the criteria that he made public, no. He didn't make the best choice based on the available facts.

If he made the choice according to his criteria, it had to be based on the speculation that whatever Kiffin and co. were saying is going to come true in the future rather than "we have already shown that we can do x, y, z."

Maybe it will come true and he made a good read of the situation. But, I'm pretty skeptical that UT climbs out of their low position in the SEC during Brown's tenure there. And that can't be good for his draft potential. Especially if he was hoping to go pro as a junior and UT has crappy or green QB's all 3 years Brown is there. Defenses will just stack up on him.

I still think there's a decent possibility that the program implodes under Kiffin and players like Brown will transfer. Not many would look down on a player for leaving Kiffin.
