I think UW can be a tough team to fight but right now they signed a few kids in last years class that are darn good. Kearse is going to be a stud if they can find a QB who can get him the ball. Boyles is another guy that can be a big time threat if he can just get the ball thrown to him on an accurate basis. Jordan Polk and Cody Burns will be solid slots for them as well. Dont forget also about Middleton who is a damn good player at TE and I would have loved to have him. They are pretty much set for the next 3 years at WR with the talent they have, so for Washington, its gonna be tough.
Start as a frosh at SDSU and play in front of his home town and family and for a coach thats new and upbeat or for Oregon where you might redshirt your first year but have a good shot at starting as a sophomore.

Re: Hearing Great News For Johnson
SDSU's athletic programs are hanging by a threat. They have one of the smallest budgets in NCAA D1. Several weeks ago the SD Union Trib had a two page editorial on the program, that’s two full pages face to face in the sports section. It outline how bad thing are. For example:
1. SDSU has no stadium and plays at Qualcomm. They have no lease for next year because the City has consistently lost money on every game. It serious money and this is not going to be solved easily because the City has a $1.5B dollar financial problem. NO more freebee for the Aztecs.
2. Their practice facilities are JC quality. The grass practice field was so bad the Duck players complained and the practices for the most part were on the synthetic practice field. One look at the Duck facilities and you realize SDSU is not D1
3. The students don’t care and the fans have stopped coming to game. Last year was an all time low. Second loss in 2 years to D2 Col Poly and attendance below 12K in a 68K stadium. Imagine just four sections filled at Autzen and you get the picture.
4. John Moore’s, Padre owner, is going through a divorce and will sell the Padres. He has been a major benefactor but he is not a Phil Knight and can’t step up and build an on campus stadium. In any case the only location is a canyon site and the traffic and environmental studies will delay it for years.
5. Check their record for the last 20 years…there have been some solid coaches like Ted Tolner. They could only generate average teamsat best.
6. They don’t play in a BCS conference and they are so financially week they have to give up home game against major teams to get added revenues. ND , tosu and others always buyout the SDSU’s home game.
7. Zero TV coverage..well maybe one game a year, sometimes
Johnson is not going to SDSU after visitng Oregon and Colorado.

James Johnson/Michael Clay/Bryson Littlejohn.
Those were the expected commits, now can we land the 4 stars? Boyd/Phillipp etc...

^^ we got 2 of the 3 you listed (bryson LJ and Clay) and both are 4 stars depending on the site (clay 4 on scout, bryson 4 on rivals).

I can't imagine he'd want to play for SDSU with all the coaching changes. Plus the fact they may give up football in the future. At least there's talk about that in the SD area. He has so much more potential in Duck town.
Do you need a transfusion of GREEN O Positive?

After he visits Washington he will commit to the Ducks (he is just being polite to visit them). The Ducks have always been a favorite and there is no way Sark outsells Chip!

They were 0 - 12 with a lot of the in state Washington talent. Many overrated..(can you spell Cody Bruns)...There's two or three guys from last years recruiting class I'd take. Other that that...not much.VinnyKnuckles wrote:Very true. Ty was successful in far too many recruiting battles against the Ducks for my liking. Many of them were in-state Washington kids, so Ty had a big advantage in that regard. Regardless, the Oregon coaches still should have lost fewer battles than they did against that program in shambles, in my opinion.buckmarkduck wrote:Yeah, but in all honesty UW does have some young talent at WR that MB wanted, so to say they have none is false. I know for a fact UO really wanted both Kearse and Boyles. UO seems to be needing a couple more WR in this class I think we get Johnson.
