Update on Tennessee attrition thus far.....

Post by jhopduck »

Board is slow and this is entertaining if nothing else. Look at all of the players that have been either dismissed or transferred from UT already. Several of which were projected starters and some that would have been standing in front of Bryce Brown. :D
And we thought we were having O-line problems.........

I've been following them as well. From practice reports, it sounds like they can't even run plays consistently without having coaches intervene and tell people where to stand. Maybe someone forgot to tell Kiffin that the kids haven't been practicing an NFL playbook for the last four years, nor Norm Chows.

I have a feeling that this attrition is just the beginning. After they tank this season, it's going to get really ugly (and hilarious at the same time). :)

Their fans were always talking about their recruiting class ranks when going after Brown. I wonder what those ranks would look like if you go back and subtract these players leaving.

Never know. OL is a position of need. They might not approve transfers to Oregon though, since we play them next year.

All of them were talented players hard to play in two completely different styles and be expected to succeed right away. Some were dismissed fully so I think they are free to go where they chose, however I think others requested transfers so there are probably some restrictions there.
I really wonder what Bryce Brown was thinking. He has to be scratching his head right now.

I honestly wonder what Kiffin and the Tennessee boosters had going on behind the scenes. Maybe I am just bitter, but I really suspect foul play on their part.

IIRC, wasn't one of BB's concerns who would be blocking for him?

Yeah, I think so..But, thats his problem now....He made his bed, now he gets to lay in it.....
I dont particularly want to see BB fail, but likewise, whether he succeeds or not isnt of much concern to me either....
We all have made good decisions and bad decisions in our life....I doubt he will look back on this one and feel too positive about it.....But, only time will tell on that one.....
I am so gonna make EVERY EFFORT to make the trip back to Tennessee next year........
A good ole fashioned butt kickin would feel soooooo nice.......

Maybe I'm wrong and this is a good thing, but I can't help but help but see hordes of Ratus Ratus doing cannonballs of the side of the good ship Tenn. The funny thing to me is that the fans on their boards don't even seem worried to be loosing so many highly ranked players. I could only imagine our boards if we lost that many of our players even if they weren't projected starters. The Tenn. boards seem to be talking about prunning the dead wood, but what happens when you get down to the stump.

Those are some big losses. I wonder where Lennon Creer will end up.

Tennessee football coach Lane Kiffin has confirmed running back Lennon Creer of Tatum, has been given his scholarship release by the University of Tennessee.

Multiple sources have told KTBB Sports the former all-state running back is interested in talking to the following programs; North Carolina, North Carolina State, Missouri, Rice, Tulsa, Tulane, Louisiana Tech, Baylor, and Northwestern Louisiana.

Of the nine schools listed, only Northwestern Louisiana would give Creer the opportunity to play immediately.

You know. It looks that way. She was always involved in inside stories during that saga. The way she was "with" Brown at that scrimmage he tried to secretly show up at... didn't seem like much of a business trip. Unless you're talking this kind of business.

Delusional city. No way that many highly ranked players are dead wood. It would be a freak occurrence if just half of them were duds. More likely that these kids don't want to be remembered as having played for the laughing stock of the NCAA.
