Saban complaining that the Florida will get to play in BCS

The point of having an SEC championship game was to ensure that the winner always got to play in the title game, having beaten one last top SEC team. The second-place team always gets a BCS bowl as well, because the Sugar always picks SEC. The formula is actually brilliant; it always works exactly as it was designed. To then whine about the loser of the game having an extra loss is the height of hypocrisy.

Oregon lost one game in O.T. on a rainy, windy day that hugely favored the team with the power running game. Otherwise, every Oregon game was won by 11 or more, and most were total blowouts. Alabama looked very beatable in several games this season. The idea that Alabama automatically gets in every year over other teams with the same record should cause Saban and any other SEC honk to shut their collective pie-holes.
