Bolden interview

Post by jhopduck »

With a non-duck interviewer and had to say we are in his five, VA Tech is too, but LEal just committed there so that helps a little. ALso says his dad will follow him on his visit. No timeline for commiting, just will when he knows.

I just hope Oregon lands someone like Bolden and doesn't have to settle for a second tier qb that isn't their top choice.

Same, Walker and Shreve aren't bad, but I'd rather land someone like Bolden or Scroggins.

If Bolden and his dad ultimately make an unofficial visit to Oregon in the near future, it might turn out better in the end that he didn't come for the Spring Game. The coaches would be able to give him and his dad more individual attention and there hopefully won't be a freakish 20 minute deluge during the visit. Hopefully they actually come and don't just keep perpetually putting it off.

Especially since there will be a two year gap between the prospective recruit and a scholarship quarterback (no one thinks Hawkins be a will quarterback, right?). Let be a little patient though. Boyd was around practically up to signing day and he was a 5 star recruit. I really have a good "gut feeling" about Masoli just ripping it this year and one of these recruits is going to want to emulate that success. Our big time quarterback may not sign for six months.

Sounds like Florida is about to offer and UCLA and USC are about to offer Scroggins. I wonder when we will.

I won't worry too much, cuz to be honest who would have thought that a JC transfer would be our starting QB at this point after Thomas and Harper were brought in? In Chip Kelly we Trust.
