Re: Satisfied so far with the season?
Being the first season with a difficult schedule I am OK with it. There were some games the Ducks blew that I think a more veteran team would have handled differently and there were some games I knew the the Ducks had no chance in and it showed. Next year the Ducks should be a lot better and in 2-3 years the Ducks should be good enough to compete for a PAC-10 title, maybe more!

No. No matter the circumstances, I'm never happy when one of my teams has a losing record and is in last place. At the same time, it was expected that we would struggle this year which makes the losing a bit easier to take. I also have confidence that we will be much better in a few years. Expansion teams just don't do well their first season.

I have to agree. I knew this was going to be a very tough season, the pac-10 is really the toughest confrence in the country. I really thought we would be able to stay out of last place, and get 10 or so wins in the pac10. But the way things are playing out its not looking good for number. 1st year teams in any sport really never have a very good first year, or first couple years for that matter. But I say by year 4-5, after the freshman become seniors I think this team will be a lot better off. In all honesty i'm not seeing a confrence title or a long playoff run in the neat future, but Coach horton will not rest until they get to that level!duckgrad99 wrote:No. No matter the circumstances, I'm never happy when one of my teams has a losing record and is in last place. At this point I'm just happy baseball is back, and looking forward to next season!

Kinda makes you wonder why EK is still the BB coach now doesn't it?

Anyone still following the team? I pretty much just look at the box scores now since they are so bad.
