Pretty darn excited about this! I'm going to have to try my best to travel up for this one. That makes our 2014 schedule sooooooooo much better too.
That means we will now open our season against a BCS opponent from a major conference from now until 2020.

I wish Oregon could get more teams to play them in similiar situations.Bud Lee wrote:http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2013/ ... utral.html

I hear this all time. How do we know that Oregon tries to schedule big time games year in and year out? I am assuming they would rather play someone much better than Nichols State, but that is me assuming and just repeating what has been said all the time. I know that KSU and Georgia "backed out", but it seemed like it was mutual on both ends. I can't imagine BSU backing down from Oregon if we wanted to play them. Why not make a tradition (until BSU begins to suck) and have a backyard brawl with a NW college that has built a formidable rep?RanDux wrote:I wish Oregon could get more teams to play them in similiar situations.

Jealous. As a Packers fan, I'd be in Green Bay in heart beat if the Ducks are ever able to play the Badgers there. That's awesome.Bud Lee wrote:http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2013/ ... utral.html

Well, what made it seem like it was mutual to you, the way the media reported it?duxforlyfe wrote:I hear this all time. For the same reasons most of those other schools don't want to play us, its not a favorable situation as beating Boise isn't a needle-mover for us, even if it'd be revenge for going 0-2 the last time. We don't gain any recruiting advantages from it. It doesn't add any prestige for us to beat Boise, but if we lose it sure doesn't look good for us/P12.duxforlyfe wrote:I can't imagine BSU backing down from Oregon if we wanted to play them.
