BYU @ Virginia
Will be interesting to see how Virginia does in this game. Also gives us a little taste of what they are all about.
Who wins this one?

Re: BYU @ Virginia
BYU supposedly has a good defense. Based on that, I think I'd go more like BYU 31 @ UV 17.DAT#6 wrote:BYU 32 UV 27

Really? I don't think either of those teams will score more than 20. I'm thinking like 13-10 BYU

Plus every time a game is supposed to be low scoring, and I pick a low score, and the game ends up being a shootout.

Weather delay still, I was impressed with Virginia's start on defense. However I think they'll struggle to move the ball against us.

You almost nailed it! It was 19-16. I didn't see any of the game, but it sounds like it was pretty physical. I expect two physical matchups in a row with UV and UT. I think we'll win, I just hope we get out of those games without any major injuries.duckfan22 wrote:not sure why other then maybe i don't like BYU i will

Yeah, nice little upset here helps the Ducks' SOS and should guarantee that Va will be pretty excited about preparing for the Ducks. I hope the game doesn't end up "too" interesting . . .

Re: BYU @ Virginia
Me too. I read a couple articles on the game and the general consensus is that Virginia's offense was pretty bad, their defense was decent, but BYU lost the game more than UV won it.Greenblood wrote:I hope the game doesn't end up "too" interesting . . .
I expect them to come out fired up. The best way to counter that is just start scoring. No disrespect to BYU, but Virginia will have their hands full with as much talent as we have at the skill positions. The biggest thing we need to do is protect Mariota so he can execute the offense. Do that and we'll be fine.

I watched the whole game. Byu looked awful. Virginia looked worse. Byu couldn't throw the ball within ten yards of the WR. He was under 33% for 150 yards and 52 came the last play.
Virginia looked terrible at QB and RB. Oregon will win by more than 40 IMO as long as it doesn't rain and make a mud pit like yesterday.

That's good to know. I was a bit concerned when I thought that UV might have a decent defense. I hope it doesn't rain.USUaggieDuck wrote:SuperDuck wrote:Me too.
