Re: Lots of tidbits today...
Thanks for the updates. It will be interesting to see who gets an Oregon offer first out of the running back trio of Tevin Drake, Deandre Johnson and Cameron Roberson. It doesn't sound like Drake has much interest in leaving the state of Florida though.

Thanks for posting these, tony.
Any idea why Oregon isn't pursing Malcolm Jones very hard?

But with fewer than usual scholarships, you think they'd risk going after some big name RBs..tonyd wrote:Because they like their chances with others better.UOducksTK1 wrote:Thanks for posting these, tony.

They are but keep in mind, even though some RBs might be ranked higher from recruiting services, doesn't mean they are as high on the coaches lists and the coaches are 20X the evaluators that rivals and scout are. Only exception is ESPN, even Neal has told me ESPN/Scouts, Inc.'s evals are spot on.UOducksTK1 wrote:But with fewer than usual scholarships, you think they'd risk going after some big name RBs..tonyd wrote:Because they like their chances with others better.UOducksTK1 wrote:Thanks for posting these, tony.

Definitely true, I guess as a fan I always want the big time recruits. Like you said, coaches will eventually get a guy that they want and that fits our system.tonyd wrote:They are but keep in mind, even though some RBs might be ranked higher from recruiting services, doesn't mean they are as high on the coaches lists and the coaches are 20X the evaluators that rivals and scout are.
