It would be nice to grab the QB MVP and RB MVP from Tennessee's camp.

The Ducks need to offer this kid now because they really need a quality QB in this class and it seems like he is really high on the Ducks so he could decide early and choose the Ducks. They can't wait until the end like last year and hope they get one of the top 10 QB's and then scramble to offer someone else, they should be happy with getting a commit from a high 3* guy and then hope they can get one of the 4-5* guys! The same can be said for the RB situation.

This guy really seems like he fits our system. 200+ pounds in high school, so he should be durable. I would not wait for something "better" to come along. Offer now and go after him hard.

I didn't put it in the article, but GPA is an issue right now. We may not offer until late due to that which may be too late. I don't know. We'll see. Kid is deadly with his legs.

GPA, huh? Last I saw he was fairly low, like a 2.2 (Probably a couple months ago, when we first saw him)... Has it gotten worse?

It doesn't seem like its Oregon's year to get a QB. The class seems to be really thin and there aren't many spread-type QBs that are close to Oregon and aren't likely to have distance issues affect their choices.

I'm not sure that we have the option of not getting a QB this year since Roper left.

If we have to settle for someone like Shreve or someone lower on the board, then something is wrong with the way the coaches are going after QBs.

.. or that they are too nice and refuse to negative recruit, which is the MO of most other recruiters. I guess we can keep to the high road though and maybe someday it will pay off.

I'm 99% sure that it has already paid off for them.

Sounds like Brunetti just got a UT offer. We'll see.
