Just hung up with his dad. I will talk with Dontae in a few hours more formally after he is done with workouts. Is confirmed he has a verbal offer extended by Coach Campbell. I also like what I heard from the brief conversation with his father. Dontae goes to Aldine HS in Houston, TX. Guess who he knows on the team?

His stats arent that impressive for being the 10th ranked RB(rivals) in the 2010 class. Is he one of those kids that did a little bit of everything in High School but his skill set translate to RB in college? Im guessing he knows D. Thomas...

He was injured for part of his Junior season so for a better evaluation we should pay more attention to the tape.

Kid is Chiseled, virtually no fat on his frame. He will add probably 10 lbs. or so in the near future.

Not the best offer list but I think the ankle injury would be the main reason. And really, you can't go wrong with the #10 ranked RB in the nation.
