As far as Sanchez and how he projects as a pro.. He led the Pac-10 in efficiency, yards, td's, td:int ratio, completion %..

He has the size, the arm, and the moxy of a potential franchise QB.

He is definitely a first-round guy this year.
That seems a lot less difficult when you have 3 NFL tailbacks back there with you

Like I said earlier, I'll believe it when I see it.

Did he have 3 NFL tailbacks in HS when he was named the #1 QB in the country for all those reasons eotl3 stated?

Did you watch the Rose Bowl? Dude has a gun & will be awesome in the NFL.

When you say he never did anything at USC, you have to look at the rest of that offense too. Have any of those players done anything? All of them (McNight, Gable, Johnson, all their WRs) have been major unerachievers. In this case you can blame their O coord. & his underutilization of all those guys.

The Lions shouldn't be allowed to take anyone. Whoever they pick will have his career be immediatly OVER.

I'm not saying he is a lock to be great in the NFL.

Few are.. (think Peyton Manning)

But he is absolutely in the mold of a franchise quarterback..

Watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmSapvFrnBQ..

If you can't see from that video what I'm talking about, then I don't know what to say.

His first two TD passes were PERFECT throws.. Those are throws you will need to make in the NFL.. Hell, even his last throw to RoJo was a dime even though he could have put it anywhere within 10 yards and it would have resulted in a touchdown.

Sanchez has all the tools necessary to be great in the pros

I don't know if his body holds up though, I don't think he's ever had to take that much punishment and his knees are already a bit banged up

As a lions fan, they will probably pick up Andre Smith because of a serious need at o line. They do have two first round picks though. If by some chance he falls down to their later pick I hope they pick him up. The lions have ruined every good quarterback they have ever had.

If he goes this will be great for us. An inexperienced QB coming into Autzen. This sets up well.

Dont get too excited here, Mustain is the real deal. Any quarterback that can go 8-0 in the SEC as a freshman has got to have some serious talent. Aaron Corp is also a stud. Mustain has the playing experience and Corp has the talent. One of them will get the job done for USC regardless of if its his first year starting or not. Mustain pushed Sanchez all through fall camp and Corp was right there in the mix as well. Sanchez earned the spot, it wasnt given to him.

They may be studs but none the less. A new QB for them coming into Autzen is a good thing for us.
