Hahaha good idea. Obviously I would love Lattimore choosing Oregon, but let's say another player high on our list like Dontae Williams commits, does that end our recruiting of Lattimore?freedjr wrote:Be sure he reads the link about who has the #1 cheerleaders...in the nation!jhopduck wrote:I never talked to Brown myself last year, but I talk/text with Lattimore a lot. He is really a big nice kid, interested in girls and football and working as hard as he can to get to the NFL. We should be excited he is looking at us as hard as he is.

I personally do not think so. Anytime you can get the #1 rated RB in your program you take it. It would give us 3 RB's this year and that might be more than need but I doubt highly Chip Kelly would pass up the #1 RB coming here. He is one of the east coast kids as well and need to keep pursuing them so that one day does pay dividends. Just my opinion though. I am not saying Dontae Williams is not a good catch.

I doubt it too. As nice as Thunder and Lightning is, Thunder and Thunder would still be pretty potent, with a little Lightening thrown in.
Chip's always shown what he can do with a two-back system. If they're the best RBs, he'll put them on the field, regardless if they're similar in running style.

We are taking 3 this year. Grant, and the other two will likely be "bigger" or every down backs.

No one ends the recruitment of Lattimore. Even if we have three we'd make room for a player like that.
