Dontae Williams makes soft commitment

Post by tonyd »

No more TV announcement, he told us he's a soft/silent commit but will firm up his commitment at the USC game...

Thanks tony. Not a huge fan of soft commits, but this is still great news.

Is it because the coaches don't want him to commit until he has visited?

I'm pretty sure that's the new policy. This is as solid as he can be until he visits.

Basically, he considers himself a commit but he's in that line of guys who need to visit before making it official. He pretty much is a silent who let the cat out of the bag to educk then DSA but we got a little more out of him thanks to jhop, lol.

As you can tell from the article though, he's all Oregon. If he's all Oregon before his visit, then he'll be 110% afterwards most likely.

Thanks Tony, it's nice to have 2 stud RB coming in this year, and Williams has a great chance to get a ton of carries next year.

A little OT but Tony have you hear any news on LMJ knee injury?

Enter Dontae Williams... If we land Uko, the NC Boyz, and Munchie, I'd say this could be our best recruiting class ever...

Setting expectation too low IMO.
