Is Selby a meatier version of AB? (He doesn't look as quick, but he seems to get where he needs to be quick.)

Looks like he can play "D" as well.

Selby seems to attack the hoop a lot more than AB. And it also appears that he has the potential to play the 2 as well (more of a combo guard).

He doesn't have nearly the handles AB had or the quickness...But he's a much bigger body and gets up a little better than Aaron did...Especially as a High school Junior...He's gonna be a stud...Would love to have him here...Has a pretty jumper too, nice form

Is Oregon the perfect fit for Selby??
1) Very good shot to start right away his freshman year
2) A brand new $250 million dollar arena with some of the best facilities in the county
3) An entire roster of upperclassmen, including 8 scholarship juniors (2 high profile transfers + 6 from a top 25 recruiting class, including a McDonalds AA Center)
4) Very good chance to make a deep run into the tourney
5) Oregon's recent success of transitioning PGs to the NBA with success
6) Oregon's connection to WWW and Nike

With all that is going on with Memphis and with UK taking Wall and Bledsoe, I have to think that Oregon actually has a decent shot at Selby. It seems like a perfect situation to come into from the outside with the only drawback being distance.

Distance hasn't seemed like as much of an issue for EK's recruits.

think of him as a cross between Eric Gordon & Jared Bayless. likely a one and done player like both of those guys were. kentucky with calipari and his WWW connections are in the best shape, however they like Brandon Knight (top PG) slightly better than Selby. If Knight commits to UK, i'd like our chances better, but there are other schools i'd say are favorites over us currently such as UConn for one. we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out b/c i doubt he'll decide anytime soon.
